Issues with CRM for Outlook client - Outlook 2010 and CRM 2011 on premise version (UR 15) RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Users in my CRM application are having trouble with tracking of e-mails through outlook, CRM addin not visible in outlook, CRM tracking button is missing from quite sometime(more than an year) now. This is always resolved mainly by re-installing CRM for outlook afresh, for the affected. We have not yet identified the actualy root cause for this.

    The users use outlook for CRM work on a day to day basis and this is affecting their work immensely. Re-installing it again and again is very time consuming and they don't seem happy at all.

    Please let us know what can be done to resolve this.

  • Have you tried running Diagnostics on the computer?  This is installed with the CRM for Outlook client.  On the Advanced tab there is a button labelled Enable under Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook Add-in. Click this might save reinstalling the software

    OF course, you still need to find out why the add-in is being disabled.
