Error message with Autoroute 2013 RRS feed

    I installed AutoRoute 2013 on my Windows 8 laptop, having installed it on my desktop beforehand. Unfortunately the new laptop froze and I had to "refresh" it to get anything to work, during which process Windows 8 decides to uninstall my copy of AutoRoute. When I try to reinstall it perfectly legally I get an error message saying to call support and the programme refuses to activate or work, even the trial one I downloaded in case that might work better than my CD one. Does anyone know if there is anything you can do to make it work, without the expensive telephone contact with Microsoft support. Otherwise I am badly out of pocket through no fault of my own.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but with exactly the same results.
