If OneCare is reporting that you need to go to Windows Update and install a critical or important security update, simply go to the Microsoft Update site and take all offered critical/important updates. If any of these are failing to install, causing OneCare to return to red status, then see the Windows Update Solution Center for help - http://support.microsoft.com/ph/6527
