What does a backup save? RRS feed

  • For the purpose of knowing excactly what a backup saves i ask. I don't want to backup changes to windows through updates etc then find that backing up only backs up certain things and other things don't backup.. I searched this simple question but did'nt find something which stuck?

  • When you configure backup in OneCare, you select the *what* for your backup plan. OneCare will only backup data files, never system files or program files. it also will not look at \Windows or \Program Files for locations to backup data files from.
