Can not install Fix It, Running Windows XP Home SP3 RRS feed

    Hi, 

    When I try to use or download FixitCenter.exe I get the following error...

    Microsoft Fix it Center Setup

    An unexpected error has occurred.  Setup cannot continue.  Please close and try again.

    Error: Unrecognized configuration section system.serviceModel.
    (c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config line 146).

    When I read through several similar issues of the other's in this forum, I followed the advise of one answer that had almost the exact code line (c:\WIN.....\machine.config line 134).  That advise said to download "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1" so I downloaded & installed .NET Fw 3.5....

    And, still nothing.  What do I do now?

    In the same boat as you. Trying to install itunes but it says, "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." I was directed to mircrosoft fix it but cannot install it.

    Haver error on page also beside not able todownload fix it center because of error
