Windows 7 not genuine after replacing HDD

Hi I have just replaced a failing HDD by cloning it worked fine for several weeks and now windows says its not genuine, I have tried running sfc /scannow still not working
Windows update doesn't work nor can I log in to Windows Live Messenger

Hi again Noel still one problem thou Live messenger is OK but windows update still says the service isn't running when I checked it is, I tryed the SFC /Scannow again and several reboots but still no Windows Update working ?

The WU problem should be fairly simple....
Open Windows Update
Click on Change Settings
change settings to 'Never Update'
OK out and reboot
now go back and change the settingsback to Automatic
OK out and reboot
Now try a check for Windows Updates again.
