CRM 2011 on-premises: JavaScript Jquery "Access Denied" error after CRM IFD RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

We have recently configured CRM IFD on our server. After configuring IFD, we are getting an error as "Access Denied" in JavaScript code with JSON calls. It was working well earlier with htpp://servername:8888/nameofcustomwebservice.asmx. What needs to do to make it working again? Please advise.

Note: This JavaScript code calls our custom web service which is hosted on the CRM application server.

    Thanks, Ankit Shah

  • You need to update the code to call the same URL than an internal user would call, and using https.  example https://orgname.domain.aaa or https://org.crm.domain.aaa depending on how you have IFD set up.

  • Hello Jason,

Thank you for a quick response. It was not working earlier because the "https" was missing.

Now, it is getting the response from the web service, however, the web service does not fetch the data.

The result in JavaScript JASON call is blank (no data). Any idea!

    Thanks, Ankit Shah
