Client BSOD during backup RRS feed

  • Question

  • The client is Win7 Home Premium, the retail release.

I installed WHS PP3 on the server last night.  This morning I see that the automatic backup failed due to loss of network connection per the WHS console.  I tried a manual backup and shortly into the backup, I don't know at exactly what point, the client crashed to BSOD.  The stop message did not point to a specific driver as the cause.

I removed PP3 and the WHS is back to PP2.  I ran a manual backup successfully with PP2.

The system logs on the client only say the system recovered from a unexpected stop but I don't find a log indicating what caused the stop.

I don't have a lot of detail on this problem, sorry.  I'm wondering if anybody else has seen anything like this and what I can do to trouble shoot this further with PP3.  I really want to run PP3 on the WHS since the Media Center functions with PP3 are much improved.
