Vista Backup Problem RRS feed

    Hi, I have been successfully backing up a Vista laptop however in the last few weeks the backup of the WinrRE partition fails (C:\ and F:\ drives backup without a problem - the WinRE partition when failing is reportd as Local Disk), the backup fails as 'the volume's filesystem is not supported' I have not applied any updates to the laptop since the last successful backup and the WHS is patched up to date. Any ideas ?

    Bizarre, the backup has been failing since 13th August, applied the very latest patches to the WHS last night, tried again after posting my problem and it now works… So posting really does fix problems !

    You need a certain amount of space free on a partition, and it has to be an NTFS partition. Have you recently made changes on that recovery partition?
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
