Issue installing CRM 2011 for Outlook 2013 RRS feed

  • I am trying to install the Dynamics CRM addin for Outlook but I keep getting the following Error

    The Installation has failed. Dr. Watson installation has failed. Click the link below to view the log file.

    I have tried consulting the log file but it has almost 20000 entries so it is really looking for a needle in a hay stack.

    Internet searches haven't helped much and I've tried installing it from a clean boot and nothing. Anyone got any suggestions

    (Windows 8.1, Office 2013)

    Can you post the content of log file ? You can past last 10 entries (end of file) 

    Also, at what step is the installation failing ?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the help. Unfortunately this does not help me with my problem. It does not seem to be applicable to my set of circumstances. I am running 8.1, installing to the main directory in the default location and have no encrypted folders. This issue is still open.
