    Hello, I'd like to know if I can use my own music and not your songs or demos. Is there a way I can upload my pre-recorded songs/audio files and then add a guitar, piano or other instrument using your interface?

    Thanks for your interest in Songsmith.  Songsmith is definitely focused on creating your own music; our demos are just there to give you an idea what you can create.  To get started, I would check out the "creating your first song" video here:

    Songsmith is not set up to layer instruments together; if that's what you're looking for, there are a number of great multi-track recording applications out there.  There's a great list at:
