CRM 2011: Hiding Fields in Advanced Find

Question
-
I understand in CRM 2011 there is field level security on each entity.
Does this carry through to the Advanced Find search dialog, ie. if a user cannot see Field A on the Invoice entity form, when the same user does an Advanced Find on Invoice he cannot select Field A as a search parameter AND not add Field A as a column to the results set?

Hi,
You can not a hide a field from the user in Advance Find unless you configure the field level securierty for that field and does not give read privileges to that field. So if you will enable the field level security for that field and then create a field level security profile and grant only the read, create, update, delete data privlieges to the concerned users only.

Hi,
Yes you can control field read access (also apply for Advance Find ) via Field Level Security to stop allowing users to see even via Advance Find.
