IFD Reporting Error with Win2008 SQL2008

Question
-
HelloI have errors if I try to use any Reporting on my CRM IFD installation. I have CRM with IFD enabled on a windows 2008 and SQL2008 installation. Reporting services are on the same Box as well. so Far so good , everything is working except the reporting. So I checked the forums but didn't find any good hint. Reporting worked before IFD . So I assume IFD changed the access security from authenticated access to anonymous, but If I change the default site back to authenticated IFD don't work anymore. So has somebody a hint, where I have to search? Or Is somewhere an implementation guide for IFD on a Win2008 SQL2008 installation?thanks a lot!Thursday, June 25, 2009 6:59 AM

Hi,
the Reporting Server is also needed, when CRM and SQL are on the same server and you use IFD.

Hello,
you have to install the Connector for SQL Server Reporting Services to ue the Reports with IFD. We have several servers with win2008 and sql2008 with ifd deployment and it works great.

Hi
thanks for the answer. I thought, the connector is not needed, if the Reporting Server is on the same box as the CRM and installation?
Do you use a separate Reporting Server?
Danke und gruss
