RTM Installation via RDC RRS feed

    I understand from the forum that there is no upgrade path from RC to RTM and that a clean install is necessary.

    I had previous problems with a USB headless installation onto a Hitachi 1.5 TB drive. (resolved by cloning a 640GB drive sucessfull install to the 1.5TB drive)

    Can the installation process be initiated by RDC to the existing RC install, without having to boot from the install USB using a cfg.ini ?

    No. As far as I know this is not possible.
    You should go with the same procedure as used for VAIL/RC.

    Btw: If you can get to boot the system from USB, a headless install should be possible.
    May it is worth to try sorting this out as whitout this you will not be able to restore the WHS 2011 system disk (BMR) in case it fails.
