Can CRM 4.0 Invoice for Time? RRS feed

  • I have some legal clients that are looking to use CRM for billable time.  Thus, they would like to use the Service Calendar to track billable time and then bill for it via Quote, Order, and Invoice.  Is there a way to do this in 4.0?  Thanks in advance!  Bill

  • You can create products with units that relate to time (per hour, per day) etc. that can be used in Quotes, Orders and Invoices. The service activities could be set regarding one of these entities, but you would need a custom report to sum the amont of time per order/invoice etc.

     

    An alternative is to use cases to group the time together, and contracts and contract lines if the time is pre-paid
