CRM integration - online with chat & email routing RRS feed

    Want to clear some basic integration questions on MS Dynamics CRM integration.

    1.For e.g. Customer A has already using an CRM web application(in-premise) in production and wants to integrate with Dynamics CRM. What are all the pre-requisites required for upgrading to CRM online?

    2.Do we need build any routing applications for routing chat or email contacts?

    3.We prefer to use the web API, and found there are many APIs found, please guide where to start in the API?
