    Hi,

    In Project Server 2007 we had the setting :

    Server Settings / Task Settings and Display : Define Current Tasks (Default : 10 days)

    Where is it in 2010 ?

    Hi,

    In PS2010 there is a new feature to achieve this called "Planning window".

    The Planning Window splits your tasks up into a set of distinct groups, those currently “In Progress”, those that are happening in the “Near Future” and those in the “Distant Future”. you can set the period for near future planning windows from the server settings ->task setting and display -> Define Near Future Planning window.

    try assign yourself to a task 3 weeks later from today, go to My task page and you will see task will dynamically be grouped under another Planning window name distant or near based on your setting.
