New HP Envy with Windows 10 pre installed.

    Question

  • This laptop came with drives

C: containing programs and data 118GP

    E: Recovery

    D: 918GB

When I moved apps from my old PC, all progs and data arrived at C: and filled the drive.

I altered some of the settings in Windows to store some data etc on d:

The result is that most apps or progs do not run, I guess because it seeks data on c: whereas it is on d:

In fact the error message says that it can't find the prog, even when I double click on a prog to run it.

    Any Help gratefully received.

    Brendan
