Connect profile: cannot use hotmail e-mail address RRS feed

  • When I try to modify my msdn/Connect profile to set my contact e-mail address to be the Hotmail address associated with my Windows Live account, I get the error, "An unknown error occurred while processing your request. This is most likely due to a connection failure. Please try again."

    If I try to use another (...@virgin.net) account I get the message, "This e-mail address has been suppressed."

    A third e-mail address seems to be blocked by our organisation's spam filter.

    I can no longer post to connect.  In the past I was able to do so: has something changed recently?

  • Olly A - I am a PM involved with ms.connect.  Nothing has changed recently.  Can you send an email to mchelp - that is the alias for Connect support.  I would love to get more specifics on your situation.  When you go to Connect and attempt to sign in, what is your experience?
