Most likely you are not using the Live ID and password associated with your One Care account. If you use the correct Live ID and password One Care will activate and not ask you for a product key.Saturday, August 9, 2008 11:56 PMModerator

I have same problem. Removed OneCare off my old computer and removed it from my OneCare account but new installation only shows 90 day trial time left. I shouldn't have to renew till approx March 2009.
Your email said to click "Subscribe". There is no "Subscribe" when I open OneCare. Just lists subscription status which is not the proper date.

You just have to activate the trial. Open One Care, select "Subscribe" and when asked to enter a Live ID enter the Live ID and password used to purchase One Care. Your subscription status will be recognized and One Care will activate.Monday, August 11, 2008 4:21 AMModerator

Then you don't have the same problem as the OP. Go to billing - https://billing.microsoft.com/home.aspx
and verify your subscription end date. If you believe the date to be incorrect or if the date does not match the date in One Care please contact support. How to reach support - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2
