  • Hi all,

    I have a question, can we do indexing for CRM database?

  • Ultimately SQL Server is the repository for CRM's data so, yes, profile and analyse and work out which bits to index.

  • Yes, indexing is one of the few things you're allowed to do to the SQL Server DBs of Dynamics CRM.

  • That being said, choose a good time to run the reindexing job.

    It would be best not to put all maintenance routines in one Maintenance plan.

    In addition, don't try to rebuild the indexes on all the databases in the instance at the same time.
