  • Hello

"i  origanly  upgraded from xp so i didnt need a product key "

It does not work like that.  If you had XP and upgraded to Vista, during the Upgrade install, you would be asked for the Vista upgrade Product Key.

That being said, it does appear that you did enter a Product Key when you installed this Vista.  I know this because, when you install Vista without entering a Product Key, Vista will use it's default "keyless install/trial key".  Below is a list of the last five digites of the Product Keys that Vista uses when no key is entered at install.   The key currently being used in your Vista ends with MB3VJ which is not a Keyless install/trial key which means that key was entered during or after install.

In addition, if you do a search of the internet for the last 15 digits of the Product Key currently being used in your Vista (9RRVH-FWCP3-MB3VJ)  you will find that this key has been leaked to the internet which is probably why you can not activate it.

I recommend contacting the person or company that sold you this software and demand the Genuine Microsoft Software that you paid for...or a full refund.  I also recommend sumitting a Piracy Report at http://microsoft.com/piracy.
