Translate specific text RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to put Bing Widget to my Moodle website.

What happens is that when the user clicks the tranlate button, Bing tranlsates the whole web page. I figured out that I can prevent text to be translated by using the <div translate="no"></div>

My problem is that Moodle web pages have sections that I have no access at all and will never get as Moodle installation is set up on my institution.

Is there a way to direct Bing to translate specific text? Something like <div translate="yes"></div> would do the job.

    Thanks

    John

  • The Translator Widget is simple and easy to use but this comes at the expense of flexibility. The only way to have full control over the translation would be a total integration of the API directly in the site.

We'd be happy to work with Moodle directly to fix this issue if they are interested, as Wordpress.org were.
