This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -
Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=22194
(you want the iata_enu.exe download)
Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.

ON the contrary - the fix did exactly what it was intended to do.
However, it only fixed one of the two problems.
The other problem is actually the more serious one - you have a KMS Volume License Key installed, which requires access to a private activation server at least every 180 days for re-activation to occur. Your machine appears to have lost its directions for finding this server.
You need to contact your system admin for assistance in connecting to the proper server, and re-activating.

Great. Thank you very much. But this is my personal laptop. Makes sense though, because I haven't remoted into (via vpn) work in many months.Thursday, June 5, 2014 12:10 AM

If it's your personal laptop, then unless work gave you the OS, it shouldn't be using a KMS Key - for what version and edition of Windows is the laptop licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?

Yes it's my personal PC. The OS is works OS. The original OS - Vista - loaded on my PC was wiped out and replaced. I was told that university workers are allowed to load OS's and applications as an employee benefit. upon load there was a script provided by school to run after install.Thursday, June 5, 2014 11:27 PM

You probably need to run that script again - talk to the system admin about that.
