    How do you remove a sub-account attached to an account and not delete it?

    From the sub-account record form, remove the value from the Parent Customer field.  That should do it.

    i.e reset the vlaue of parentaccountid attribute in the sub account you want to delink.

    Hi,

    You could use the Advanced Find to get all the Accounts which have data in the Parent Account field and clear them off one by one if they're not many. Alternatively, you could also write a tiny update statement to clear off the data in the Parent Account field.
