Issues with my activation RRS feed

  • In September, My computer (with XP) crashed so my brother gave me a copy of Windows 7 to wipe it clean with.  It worked fine for about a month, no issues or pop ups, then suddenly the background went black and pop ups everywhere saying this isn't a genuine copy.  When I went to re install the product key, it rejected it, whereas it deemed to have accepted it previously.  Per the diagnostic tool, this is what it says:

    1. Type "slui 4" in the start menu search box, hit enter

    2. Select country or region

    3. Dial the number, DO NOT select any menu options, just wait and a person will pick up.
