Disable the Home tab button on ms crm 2011

Question
-
Hi,
Is there any work around to disable the button present in the home tab, like new activity, new records button groups?
I am able to hide those, but the screen is getting pushed up.
So if any one can put some light on it.
Thanks you in advance.

Hi,
You can hide the Activity buttons using Pragma Tooolkit Ribbon Editor (http://pragmatoolkit.codeplex.com/)
Update: Activity Ribbons button can be hided via the above mentioned toolkit.

Hi,
You can hide the ribbon buttons only related to an entity, New Activity and New Records buttons group is not particularly related to any entity and can not be hidden via the supported customization.
