Can't receive gmail in windows live mail

  For some strange reason, I am no longer able to receive email from anyone using gmail.  I am using windows live mail in Windows 7 professional.  This only happens on one of our computers.  All the settings are the same, other than our email addresses.  Tried switching from POP to IMAP.  Didn't fix the problem.  Tried disabling AVG antivirus.  Didn't fix it.  Email from gmail accounts will flash for a second in my "In" box and disappear.  These emails show up on my server's website and I can receive them through Thunderbird, but not Windows Live Mail.  Also tried the repair function for Windows Live Mail and got the "successfully repaired" message.  Still not working.  Any suggestions?
