Unfortunately, your post regarding your problem with XP installation on your Fujitsu computer is off-topic to this forum, which tries to help Microsoft customers who are experiencing WGA-related problems.

Please Search for a general Windows help forum such as http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp, or try the Windows help forums at this link:  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=79882

    Good Luck!

PS--you probably need to press F6 when XP Setup asks for thrid party mass storage or raid controller drivers and then supply the correct driver on a floppy diskette (assuming your lappy has a floppy drive!!).  Try searching at the Fujitsu user self support forums for yur model of Fujitsu for similar issues posted by users like you trying to downgrade.

  • Needhelpalot,

Media Center is still XP that still needs the mass storage controller driver fed to it on a floppy.

Most newer laptops will present a USB-connected external floppy to XP Setup so that it looks like a floppy connected to a standard floppy driver controller, which XP will happily use.

Again, we are straying way off base so the next stop for you should be searching at the user forum at Fujitsu for people who have already done this with your exact model of laptop.
