Sync SQL2008 Db using Peer to Peer RRS feed

  • Question

I am trying to sync two database(s) of SQL 2008 Change tracking feature using Peer to Peer provider, this is the only provider seems to work between server to server.  But the change tracking feature lacking the information on storing the datetime information on the tracked data.  Is there any solution to use P2P provider with SQL2008 CT info without changing the schema or writing side table.  I have developed sample application that worked almost except syncing all the times and not able to store with server has been sync'ed.

  • Actually for the current release of the peer provider. sql change tracking is not supported as the tracking machanisim yet. the only supported is the coupled ( tracking columns in the user table ) and de-coupled ( tracking columns in seperated tracking table ). please refer to the samples for the code snippet.
