CRM3 - Workflow rules not automatic? RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    I have a rule set up for CRM to send out an e-mail when an opportunity status has passed its 'On Hold' date - however, it does not seem to run when I change an opportunity status from 'In progress' to 'On hold' with a date of < today.

    *However*, when I run it manually against the opportunity, it works fine.

    See screenshot below of the rule... is there something I'm not setting properly?

  • Hi,

    The change status action changes the status of the entity. Again, don't confuse this with the status reason .

    you can think of this as changing the state of the entity (from open to close or won) but when you change 'In Progress' to on hold you are not changing state of the record so this will not get fired..
