Windows 7 Genuine status revoked RRS feed

  • Question

  • I purchased my Windows 7 ultimate in late February 2011 and installed it in early March<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It was validated by Microsoft and Activated at the time and confirmed as Genuine. I have been using it on a regular basis since then with no issues. Today it suddenly came up with the message "Build 7601 - This Copy of Windows is not Genuine"

As the installation had previously passed the Microsoft activation test and had been validated as genuine I do not understand how this can now have changed.

    What's going on ? ? ? ? ?
