what do i do now that my com,puter has been infiltrated RRS feed

    I just allowed these scammers access to my computer, I got to the last stage where they wanted me to pay a fee and i turn off the computer which made me mad. what do i do now, do they have access to mydetails? and who do I notify. please help I am so upset.

    IMMEDIATELY - run a virus scan, and take the computer offline
    If you have any banking or credit card details on the system, contact the issuer to notify them of possible identity theft.
    You may be well advised to take the machine to a reputable company for backing up your data, and a reformat/reinstall.
