WMI Provider Error - Invalid Parameter [0x80041008] or LoadFromSQLServer method error 0x80004005 RRS feed

  • Question

  • The error in title is most likely tied to the FQDN certificate and the Kerberos ties to the Server.  Server is a Windows 2016 Data Center in AWS.   Server was removed from AD then re-added in an attempt to repair the error.   If running a backup, the following error is generated.   The second error (the title) indicates the error received while trying to change the service account from the local Managed Service Account (NT Service\SQLServerAgent) to a group Managed Service Account (domain\gMSAAcctName)

    Svc Acct ERROR
NT Service\SQLServerAgent Executed as user NT Service\SQLSERVERAGENT v15.0.2000.5 64 bit "Could not load package "BACKUP" because of error 0xC0014062. • Thanks, I wondered what happened to the site.  There is not longer a location for SQL Server questions.

  • You're welcome. Yes, the MSDN/TechNet forums are closing and discussions moving over to QnA site.
