Can not Sign In into Mesh -- Accepting Terms of Conditions

Question
-
Hello.
Once I do log in into mesh, I must agree the terms of conditions.
What happens is that although I click the "I agree" button, I can not enter. The browser (the three browsers I've tested) remain in the same page waiting for me to agree the text.
What can I do to finally work with Mesh?
Thank you very much.Friday, October 2, 2009 7:23 AM

Cnatra, are you still seeing this problem? I haven't seen any reports of this and wanted to confirm this cleared up or not.

Hello, Ken.I finally pass througth the screen.I made it changing the country in my profile.I don't put my real country in all sites I sign up and sometimes it produces the software not to work or show information as one expect. Now it's ok.Anyway, I would like to tanks Stephen for the support.BTW... once installed the lmesh client, I started to have problems login in clients with Citrix client --- not valid credentials --- Today I found that turning off LMesh client, Citrix goes Ok. SW compatibility I guess.Thank you all.

The fact that you state that you've tried with 3 different browsers makes it interesting, but this thread indicates that the issue is typicall due to a cached page problem - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMesh/thread/ba9ce235-fe22-4eff-bab5-8b98c0ae57f4

Hello, Stephen.
Althought I knew it was not a caching problem, I've tried what you proposed and it didn't work. Cache cleaned... problem persists.
I've even tried to register (accept terms...) from another computer, and I get the same prob.
No solutions found yet.

I had suspected that it wasn't, since you encountered it with different browsers.
Are you behind a firewall or proxy server?

Yes.
I'll try from a PC outside this network.
I did not realize that point.
In what way would that interfere the process?Monday, October 5, 2009 4:34 PM -
It could be an issue, though the problem should only manifest itself on running the client. You should be able to proceed through on the Mesh web site no matter what, though.

No way I can get in.I'll keep testing from one machine or another, one day after another... perhaps one day I'll be lucky.Thank you very much anyway.CNatraWednesday, October 7, 2009 8:50 AM

Cnatra,
What format is the LiveID you have set up for Live Mesh? name @ domain.com or some variation such as first.lastname @ domain or @subdomain.domain?
Can you try creating a new LiveID at http://account.live.com with a name @ live.com convention and give that a shot?
Also, what security software are you running? Any sort of 3rd party firewall or something that purports to "harden" Internet Security, perhaps blocking some browser activity?

I had the same problem today from the office, behind an m/s isa proxy/firewall server. Just looped on the I Agree screen with no error message or other explanation. Tonight at home, only the router's built-in firewall, it works and brings up the devices screen. Will try again tomorrow at work to see if it works.Friday, October 30, 2009 4:16 AM

I've been having the same issue,
1. Tried cleaning cache, didn't help
2. Tried Second Profile, again no results
3. Tried no firewall, still no luck any ideas?Saturday, December 26, 2009 8:05 AM -
I have tried everything 3 different computers; 3 different browsers (IE8,firefox,google chrome); 3 different OS (xp,vista, and win 7). NO LUCK AT ALL!!!, cleaned cached, cookies, history, put all BROWSERs on default. I made sure JAVA, flash were good. I don't know what else to do. I also created a brand new account but still the same ongoing issue. Tried doing the same thing without the router and without the firewall being enabled. Any other suggestion moderator?

For everyone posting this problem today, I'm going to lock this thread and refer you to this thread: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMesh/thread/731d78b4-c519-49eb-8e9d-5d87082ffdd7
It would seem that there may be a server issue. I don't expect to see anyone from the Live Mesh team look into this until Monday at the earliest.
