I used Sync Toy and selected the SYNCHRONIZE option. So then, why are the two folders of different sizes? RRS feed

I've run into the same problem when using the ECHO option. I guess SyncToy just doesn't work no matter how you use it.

  • These are all .mp3 files. I am CERTAIN that the music folder on my C drive is perfect and not mucked up. It is also also 10 GB bigger than the music folder on the other drive. Do you think it would hurt to just go ahead and copy the bigger music folder on the C drive to the music folder on the other drive that is 10 GB less? That way, any files that are missing on the other drive will be added and the rest will just be overwritten? My C drive would be left alone. When I am finished, I'll run a duplicate file finder and empty folder deleter to clean things up.
