Windows Server 2012 Exams and 2012 R2

hi, I have sat 70-410 and recently 70-411. I was looking to pick up the training guide for 70-412, but it seems the microsoft press book is now unavailable? I figured this may be discontinued due to 2012 R2 being released.

A couple of questions: Is there any other Microsoft recommended text for 70-412? Will the Windows Server 2012 exams be separate from the Windows Server 2012 R2 exams or is Microsoft just upgrading all the MCSA exams using the same exam ID?

The MSPress study guide release date has been moved to January 22nd, 2014. It is hard to say if it will include Server 2012 R2 content - guessing yes.

The other books on Amazon seem flaky and incomplete. Have you considered a practice exam from Transcender? https://www.transcender.com/practice-exam/microsoft/70-412.kap

Microsoft will be adding Server 2012 R2 exam questions to 70-412 in January, 2014. See the message in the exam's description here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/exam-70-412.aspx

Pass the exam before January take advantage of just Server 2012 RTM questions.
