  • install the webscheduler.msi on the OCS server from setup\i386\setup and then restart all the ocs services on the server or simply do a restart

then open the mmc of ocs and right click the forest node. Go to meetings tab and change "Allow users to invite anonymous participants" and change the global policy to allow meetings(preferbably policy 4)

install the lmaddinpack.msi and lmsetup.exe on the client machine. Restart the outlook and communicator for the changes to be effective. You might need to restart the outlook twice.

Then you will see new tabs in outlook and communicator to setup a live meeting.

  • Hi Anonymous, Beaum & Lenart,

Did sujeeth_tech's recommendations solve your issue? Are you still having the issue? If not, can you share your resolution? If you are, please let us know ASAP.

  • Hi, sorry for my late response, I was at the custumer site for long 2 weeks with limited access to Internet.

No it didn't solved my problem, I'm still getting the same problem. I will try in the future with new install of OCS and components, hopefully that will help. I will allso try to regenerate the same problem in my lab, I think that I'm doing something wrong..

    But I have another question....

Can I put WebConference component on the central OCS server, where are installed all core components of OCS, or it has to be another server in my organization with IIS 6 or higher?

    Thanks,

    lenart

    Hi there,

For a long time I didn't do anything. As long as the OCS Public Beta Expired, so I Installed the Trial version of the product, which corrected this issue.

    How I did this?

Just uninstaled the old expired product and instaled on the same computer the new one. Now everything works fine.

So, if u have the Public Beta release... try Trial version.

I hope that this will work for u too.

  • Interesting..   Actually I have RTM version... Hope this is not one of those "service pack 1" fixes the issue.  Cant wait that long...
