    There is no sound on my computer. I have applied Sound Test on the systme through Contorl Panel and also applied 'Microsoft Fix It' ; still unable to get sound.

    Did the sound troubleshooter detect any problem? You can expand the trobleshooter from the main dialog and click on "More about this result at Microsoft Fix it ..." link. This will display the report online and it may provide additional resources for you to try.
