I am trying to work with Queues as a way to notify someone when a new quote needs to be done for a lead/account. The way I have decided to go about doing this is with custom tabs, and a queue called "Quotes Requested" owned by the person who does the quotes.
When a sales rep needs a quote done, they fill out the fields in the form and then assign the account/lead to "Quotes Requested" queue.
I understood the online help to mean that there was a way to send an email to the queue owner when something new was added to their queue. However, I have not been able to make this work yet. We are using CRM integrated with Outlook.
Any help would be appreciated!
