Windows 7 Build 7600 not genuine on the desktop

Question
-
I bought a used Asus Eee PC T91 from ebay with Windows 7 Ultimate, but a XP COA sticker on bottom. It worked fine for about a week till I compressed the hard drive and I got "bootmgr is comressed" error on boot. I didnt make a restore disk so I downloaded the one from
neosmart.net/blog/2009/windows-7-system-restore-discs/
i was able to get to the command prompt and /fixboot got it back to booting up. Thats when I got the Not Genuine message.

You are using an OEM SLP copy of Windows.
Windows Product ID: 00426-OEM-8992662-00497
Windows Product ID Type: 2
Windows License Type: OEM SLP
OEM SLP copies are only installed at the factory at the time the computer is built. They are not valid if copied to a different computuer. Your computer was built on June 10, 2009
<Date>20090610000000
Since Windows 7 did not release to the manufacturers until July 24, 2009 there is no way a Windows 7 OEM SLP copy shipped on this computer.
Windows Activation Technology has now detected that this copy of Windows was installed using a "loader" file in order to fool Windows into thinking that a correct SLIC table is in the BIOS, which of course it is not.
OEM Activation 2.0 Data-->
BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC table
You need to purchase a full license copy of Windows 7 or restore this computer to the original operating system.

Thanks for the prompt reply and Im pretty sure you are right...is there a chance that the pc was refurbished and then windows 7 installed?
I will prolly just install Ubuntu, too bad though I finally started to like windows again.

It wouldn't be the first time someone in here has reported that a shop cut corners to provide an OS on a refurb.
