Ignite 2019 - How to sell the boss on letting me attend? RRS feed

    Hello, Everyone.

    I would like to attend Ignite 2019 in Orlando. The problem is that my company hates sending anyone to Microsoft conferences (Linux and VMWorld - no problem, though). In order to go I have to present to my managing director why I want to attend and when I get back I have to present to the CIO and the rest of the exec's what I found out by attending. I believe this to be a litmus test so people don't ask to go to different conferences.

    I figure I will use the old standby's -- like hands-on-labs and all that. But, if one of you were in my situation, what topics could I bring up to sell these guys to get to that conference?

    Maybe this thread could help others attend as well...
