Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 70-461 Exam RRS feed

    70-461 is the first paper I am going to write for MCSA.

    Could someone please advise:

    • how much time to write the paper (I need to apply time off from work)
    • number of questions
    • passing score

    According to Prometric the exam goes for 3hrs.  The passing score is 700/1000 and Microsoft does not release details of the number of questions in any of their exams.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I just checked Prometric, it is indeed 3 hrs.

    Another thing with Prometric, candidate has to pay a fee to reschedule 15 days before the exam.

    I remember Prometric used to allow rescheduling within 24 hours without charging a fee.

    That's correct.  The policy was changed some time ago to ensure that seats weren't left vacant due to people constantly rescheduling on the day before the exam.

    As far my knowledge 70-461 exam will take 3hours to write & you have to taken  700 out of 1000.
