Strange things on install RRS feed

    I have a p4 1.5 i fist put in 1.25 gb of ram and had to goback to 512 for the install to make it work and not come upwitha hadware change erro on install

     

    I installed WHS and put the ram back in all is well

    Has any other people had this issue.

    Odd that... did any other amounts of ram cause this break down? What error exactly were you seeing when you were trying to install with the 1.25 gigs?

    Are you 100% sure that the memory you removed for the installation is OK? If you haven't checked it, try and run a memtest to find out. Cause it sounds like the RAM you removed is bad.

    yes have tested all the ram all ok my WHS server is rock solid will al the ram back in
