Restoring from a previous installation of OneCare RRS feed

    Hi,

     

    Just bought the latest version of OneCare (offered to Beta testers), quick question.

     

    I presume i uninstall onecare via add & remove programs and then run the clean up tool first? I then install the new version. Now onto what this questions about - supposing I want to restore something that was backed up using the beta - what's the procedure?

    Hello Tom, uninstall the beta using add/remove programs. You should not have to use the cleanup tool. After performing a backup with the new One Care installation you can choose to restore backups made with the beta by selecting "Custom Restore" in the restore options.
