How to catch the event which is fired when “Save Work Item” button clicked in Visual Studio 2015? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to run my code(a script or C# code) to validate the changes done to a workitem before saving it.

So, I am thinking to catch the event which will be fired when "Save Work Item" button is clicked in VS2015.

Hence, I would like to know if it is possible to catch the event which is fired when you click "Save Work Item" button in Visual Studio 2017 (which is responsible for saving the changes to TFS) from a different(external) application/service.
