  • Hi,

Territory form and entity in general are not customizable (apart from editing views). However, you can still customize the form in an unsupported way - you will not be able to add new fields, though. If you are interested in adding new sections, adding new tabs or Iframes, you can use the unsupported way described below:

    1. Go to your CRM database server and use SQL Server Management Studio to run the query:

    Code Snippet

select * from organizationuibase where formxml like '%name="territory"%'

    2. Copy the FormId of the form returned

    3. Open CRM and go to "Settings" / "Customization" / "Entity customization" and choose any entity from the list (e.g. an account)

    4. In the new window, click "Forms and views" in the left navigation pane

    5. Open the Form to customize it

    6. Now, press CTRL+N and replace the objectTypeCode in the URL from 1 to 2013, as this is the ObjectTypeCode for a sales territory:

    http://s1:5555/Netwise/tools/formEditor/formEditor.aspx?formtype=main&objectTypeCode=1 ->

    http://s1:5555/Netwise/tools/formEditor/formEditor.aspx?formtype=main&objectTypeCode=2013

    7. You are now in the customization window of the "Territory" form. Make the changes, save the form and publish the entity.

Let me know whether this helps.

    Kind regards,

  • Okay.

Kuba's solution was what I was looking for.
But now I was required to do it using ISV... What is becoming such a headache to me since I am not plenty sure of how to do so...
The main idea is to replace the new territory function, so I open  a custom html. I also have to replace the "open territory" function... can someone help on this?

    thks

by the way... the before solution was rejected because it appears that any update can broke it....
