    Does anyone know how to go about setting up federation with Microsoft so I can add Microsoft employees as Communicator contacts? I have done all the technical stuff on my end and federation is working with other companies, but I assume there is some sort of process, perhaps even a form to fill out (!), to get my Edge server on Microsoft's allowed list.

    Your MS account rep or partner account manager (depending on what kind of company you work for) should be able to obtain the form for you.  They will need to sponsor you for federation and provide the business reason why MS should federate with your company.
