  • Check PostcodeAnywhere and QAS tools, they both offer postcode lookup features where you know the address.

Else you can create a seperate entity for storing the postal of each city / state and call a Client Side Web Service to search and pop up the Postal code.
You can refer this article on how to call javascript web services - http://www.stunnware.com/crm2/topic.aspx?id=JS4

    Hope this helps

  • MS CRM dont have any auto built in feature for that. You will need some development for that.

You will need to write a webservice and call it using JScript on Change event of the zip code field. You can implement the logic of finding the zip code related to the city and state in the webservice. Ofcourse for this purpose, you need to have a complete list zipcodes and city, states.

There are some IT Companies also which provide this kind of webservices.

You can try the demo at http://zipcodeworld.com/demo.htm. If you able to find database includes ZIP code, city name, state code and phone area code in the certain country then you can play around with scripts that automate this easily :)
