Registry Key change won't work for me

Question
-
I've been having the same issue with Win 10 and MS Money. (I just downloaded Win 10 today as a regular consumer to replace Win 8.1) However when I go to change the registry key as others have suggested it's 9.0000 not the 9.11.10240.16384. I changed it to 9.11.10240.0, but it didn't work. I really need to get this working. Does anyone know of other solutions?Wednesday, July 29, 2015 7:39 PM

32 or 64 bit version of Windows 10? Are you sure you are looking at the correct key?Thursday, July 30, 2015 5:07 PM

I'm on 64 bit. I actually could be looking at the wrong key because I'm not the most computer savvy, but I just followed the whole path that someone else had written in another answer.Thursday, July 30, 2015 5:24 PM

Try again - I'm a complete novice and followed the instructions (very) slowly.
Once I had changed the correct registry key to 9.11.10240.0 Money opened as usual.
I cant find the originator of the fix - but a great big thanks to you.

I did. I went through each step. What was your key to begin with?Thursday, July 30, 2015 5:48 PM

Oops. I did do one thing wrong. I went to version vector instead of just version. Thank you for getting me to go through each step again. It did work. Yay!!Thursday, July 30, 2015 5:53 PM
